Hi! My name is Trish Lester. I started out doing t-shirts back in the fall of 2004. I purchased a heat press machine and a heat press hat machine. I love to create designs on my computer and put them on a t-shirt. From there, I purchased a special printer, special inks that don't fade thru washings, and professional transfer paper. I wanted my product to be the best it could be so my customers would come back for more.

I created logos for my husband's businesses and put them on shirts. From there I was able to do company shirts for local businesses and churches.

We live on Lake Gaston on the Virginia side, and I decided to try my hand at creating shirts with Lake Gaston on them. I use my own creations along with heat transfers that I can purchase that are already made to be heat pressed directly to the shirts. I now have shirts for purchase at Wildwood Nursery's gift shop at 13A Gasburg Rd., Henrico, N. C., Holly Grove Marina located on Hwy. 903 in Bracey, Va., Lake Gaston Americamps also located on Hwy. 903, and Lake Gaston totes in Cherished Treasures located at 216 E. S. Main St. Littleton, N. C. I also do various shows in Virginia and North Carolina. Check out the "upcoming shows" page for schedule.

In the fall of 2005, I added embroidery. I purchased a commercial machine and began another adventure! Embroidery is so beautiful! I really enjoy being able to embroider so many different things and experimenting with different materials.

Then in January of 2006, I decided to try my hand at making handbags.

I seemed to have a knack for them(that's what my daughter says!), so I bought different fabrics and started making them. It kind of got started from the popularity of the "placemat" purses. I thought, gee I wonder if I could do that??? So I made one...it sold...made another...it sold...and it grew from there. I really didn't like the placemat purses though because I thought they were a little too small and I wanted a bigger bag. I came up with my own patterns, and my husband fashioned them with a special material that he cut with one of his saws which makes it handy when placing them on the fabric for cutting.

Eventually I added the "Hip Chick Quick Bag" line. These handmade bags are designed to be very unique, and are for the chick who likes to change her bag with her outfit and do it quickly. I'm constantly experimenting with different pieces parts to make one-of-a-kind bags.

So, if you're looking for something for yourself or for a gift...personalized items are great! I would love to create something for you!

Update......in January of 2007, I bought a leather sewing machine. Working with leather is my absolute favorite!
